After a few restarts I t wouldn't turn on at all

I tried to start it and it was running hard. Very loud too much vibration. After a few restarts I t wouldn't turn on at all. I think I need a plug that goes in the compartment above the battery. The 4-plug one. I'm not sure, my father probably stole it. If that is the case, where can I find this missing part? Also, I have a corroding battery fixture. It's turning green and powdery. Obviously, I'll be buying a new one soon, but, is there a way to prevent the corrosion in the future?

Hello

There are a few relays in the underhood junction box ! i have included are diagram for you ... but if your dad had stole one of these your vehicle would most likely not start at all !! you will need to have the cars PCM(computer) read for fault codes .. this will determine where the fault actually lies !! locate your radio code.. remove battery terminals and clean off with sandpaper then add a little grease to them and reconnect to the battery ! hope this helps
