2002 Dodge Intrepid Won't Start

I have a 2002 intrepid rt. I recently put a new battery in the car, and when I went to start it this morning it was dead. So I jump it. When it starts all of the lights (dashboard, radio etc.) Started flashing. And wouldn't stop. Also my ABS and brake light came on, along with my battery light. I let the car run for awhile and when I shut it off and tried to restart it it was completely dead. What could be wrong? What ever is going on it is draining my battery completely. Please help!

Get the alternator load tested and verify there's no short circuit within the electrical system
