Engine cranks but does not start. Okay b/4 this snow storm no problems. Gas pedal seem like it doesn't have as much play as before (possble stuck open?) I can't figure out why because it was fine the day before. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome, you can visually check the throttle-valve. Have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If spark ok, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage.

What exactly is a throttle valve? And what does it look like? Where is it located?

In the picture, the throttle position sensor and idle air control, iac are connected to the throttle-body. The throttle valve is in the throttle body. I tried to find better picture, so far no luck.
