I have a 2003 Caravan with 47,000 miles. When the car becomes warm in the summer it start to make a high pitched whistle sound kind of like a tea kettle. It seems to come from under the front passenger side. Also, the passenger side floor floods when the air conditioner runs. Some water seems to come out the bottem but there is standing water inside on the floor mats. The whistle does not change by turning the air on or off.

The water is in the floor because the a/c evaporator drain is plugged up. You need to stick something like a peice of a coat hanger up in the drain to clear it out. The drain is located on the passenger side under the hood on the firewall. It looks like about a one inch peice of soft rubber tube coming out about where the a/c lines go in the firewall. It faces the ground and is usually flattened out on the end. Just prees it open an stick the peice of coat hanger up in there far enough where it is going in to the firewall. This should clean it out. This happens to alot of people. I work on a/c alot.

Hope this helps.
