I've noticed a slow leak of coolant from the underneath of the radiator area. My van looks like it has a radiator and then 2 small radiators in front, right behind the front bumper. The leak looks like it is coming from the one in the middle almost at the bottom, but it is really hard to see in there. Can I use radiator stop leak, and does it work? I can't really afford to take it in to be fixed so I am trying to fix it myself but not sure what to do since I can't really see where it's leaking from. What does this smaller radiator do? Thought maybe it was a transmission cooler? Please help! It is a very small slow leak.

Thank You!

The other radiators may be a trans cooler and part of the AC. As far as the rad leak, I will tell you that they have plastic tanks attached to an aluminum core. As a result, over time the crimps come loose and cause a leak. You could try to use a stop leak, but I wouldn't recommend a powdered aluminum type. I'm not allowed to recommend products or cut on any so I have to watch what I say. There is a liquid type that has pellets in it that works well and won't clog the heater core.

If you have other questions, let me know.

The leak looks like is coming from the radiator looking part in front of the actual radiator. The one in the middle. I don't even know what that part is. If that is my trans cooler, can I fix it with liquid stop leak or do I have to replace it?
