I have a 97 caravan and while I was driving the engine started to lose power. It cut off on me and would then crank, but not turn over. I took it to the mechanic and it started up. They said that there was no combustion. It had fuel in the oil due to multiple starting attempts without a turnover. Changed the oil And checked the comperssion and all was good. The van would not start up again and come to find out, there isn't any spark. Could this be from the distributor or brain box? Help me out if you can.

I'm not sure of the litre size of your engine? I looked at 3.3 info, shows dis ignition. Are you missing anything besides spark? With the engine cranking, do you have primary voltage to the coil pack and also B+ to the fuel injectors? Can you check for codes?
