I was heading to work; the truck was running well and all of a sudden it just shut down when I stopped at a red light. The engine cranks but will not start. I checked all fuses were all good, fuel pump is good and running. Checked the fuel shut off it’s good and working correctly. I did a bypass to make sure it’s working correctly, it’s good. Made sure it had air flow getting good air flow. Help, I can’t figure it out. Also, checked wiring is good. Used a push button start cranks over but will not start.

Hi,

In most cases, a crank no start condition is either the result of a fuel or ignition-related issue. You hear the fuel pump but may not be producing.

Try this. See if it will start if you use starter fluid. If it does and then stalls, we know it is a fuel-related issue. If there is no change, I need you to check for an ignition spark at the plugs.

Here is a link that explains how that is done:

Try this and let me know the results.

Take care,
