Cruise control not working

So, ever since I bought it the guy said your cruise control works and I took it for a test drive and the cruise control didn't work. The on and off switch on the steering wheel the light turns on when you turn the switch on but the light that comes on, the dash does not turn on. I would appreciate the answer.

Hi,

There could be several reasons it isn't working. For example, a faulty brake light switch can cause it. Also, it could be related to an issue with a clock spring in the steering, a faulty wheel speed sensor, or even a blown fuse.

So, here is what I suggest. Let's start by checking to see if the cruise control module is getting power. The module receives power via fuse number 14 in the under-hood fuse box. In addition to checking the fuse, confirm there is power to it. Here is a link you may find helpful:

I attached the wiring schematic for the circuit as well as the fuse box. I highlighted the fuse to check.
