Cruise control issues

Cruise on/off button is in steering wheel. The light on button comes on but the indicator in the dash doesn’t. E brake works and shows on dash when pushed down.

The most common cause of this is a failed stop lamp switch. Basically the cruise control sees a small amount of voltage on this circuit and it thinks the brakes are being applied and it prevents the cruise from engaging.

Most switches have an adjustment but this one does not. If it were me, I would replace the switch but I also attached the testing that we need to run through in order to find the issue.
