Crank no start

My car will crank but not start. Put an external fuel pump still same problem. Will start for a second when spraying started fluid in air filter.

Hi,

If it starts with starting fluid, fuel isn't getting into the engine. What I need you to do is first, scan the computer to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes stored. Here is a video showing how it's done:

I realize most people don't own a scan tool. However, most parts stores will lend or rent one to you.

Next, we need to check for an injector pulse. Here is a link that explains how to test for injector issues:

One last thing. I don't know if the fuel pump is turning on. If it isn't, check the fuel pump relay. It under the hood on the passenger side inner fender. See pic 1 below. You can switch it with a different relay having the same part number or test it. Here is a link for testing a relay:
