Vehicle listed above LX, model/area code "KK". Your answer to "OBD2 not reading" post seems to have the correct ECM/PCM Connector and OBD2 port pinout configurations (https://www.2carpros.com/questions/2004-honda-crv-obd-not-reading). I'm not sure if the wire colors also match, but the one that's indicated does match. I can't find any troubleshooting documents with the correct connector diagrams (configuration and wire colors). My current manual has troubleshooting techniques and tables in Chapter 11, but I get stuck when testing the PCM because of the mismatch. Please help!

Hi,

I'm not 100% sure what you need. However, I attached what I think you are looking for.

If you look below, pic 1 shows the pinout for the DLC on the vehicle you have. The additional pics are the PCM pinouts for the three different connectors. They provide the terminal number, the wire color, terminal name, description, and signal information.

Let me know if this is what you need.

Take care,

Joe

Yes, those are exactly what I'm looking for! Incredible!

Do you also have the diagrams and tables for PCM Connectors D and E? At the moment, I especially need E. I'm trouble shooting both Main relays. In chapter 11, the next step in testing the fuel pump relay is at Connector E. I'm hoping that the instructions will be easy enough to transpose to my pinout. Ideally, the instructions would match.

Is there a way for me to locate the manual for my model? Here are the specifics: 2004 Honda CR-V, sub-model RD6, area code (model) KK, made in Japan by HONDA MOTOR CO, LTD, 2.4L, 2WD/K24A, 4-door, 4-speed automatic, LX/2WD, RV-i
Thank you so much!
Terri

Terri,

First, you are very welcome. We use Alldata manuals and Prodemand which are online. Both are really helpful, and most shops do use them. I believe they are available to anyone, but they do charge for the service.

Now, at the PCM, there are only 3 connectors, A, B, C. Connectors D and E are at the under-hood fuse box and not actually part of the PCM.

I attached the entire powertrain management circuit below for you. I highlighted everything related to the fuel pump and Main relay 1 and Main relay 2. Note that both are in the A connector at the PCM, pins 6 and 16.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

See pics below. Note: I had to cut each of the 4 pages in half to make them readable for you. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next. Pics 1 and 3 below are the ones I feel you will have the most interest in seeing.

Each of the 2 pics (in order) is equal to one of the pages. Pics 1 and 2 are a page, pics 3 and 4 are a page, and so on.

I will start testing based on your diagrams. I really appreciate your effort to assemble these and the notes that you added.
If I have any other questions as I go along, I will reach back out.
