I have the vehicle listed above 1.5l. Runs fine, does not overheat, temperature gauge works fine, not low on water or leaking water and the relays work fine have already switched them out. For some reason when it gets to running temperature the fan kick's in like it's supposed to but after that will not shut off. Runs the whole time the car does but will shut off when you shut the switch and the car off. Restart the car and again when it's supposed to come on it does just won't shut off, no idea.

Good morning,

I would suspect the coolant temperature sensor. It may be corroded at the end of the sensor and the values are off from age and wear. Check the connector for 5 volts with a voltmeter to be sure the ECM is providing the correct voltage.

I attached the wiring diagram as well as the location for you to access. It is at the back of the cylinder head.
