Convenience center removal

How do I remove the convenience center?
I have a short in the pin feeding power to the seats and door locks inside the convenience center, and need to remove it to make a repair.

Looks like the way to get this out is to remove the instrument panel/dash. I attached the process for this and let us know if you need more info. Thanks
