I have an error code P2293. It says there are issues with the fuel pressure regulator performance. I know my EVAP purge valve needs to be changed. Will this be a cause for that error code? Should I change the gas pressure valve sensor and the fuel filter? Will I have to spend the money on a complete fuel pump replacement?

EVAP purge won't set this code. It's usually a mechanical fault in the regulator or a bad camshaft lobe not lifting the pump properly. There is a TSB about it and a kit available from the dealers to repair the problem.
