Clutch Master cylinder installation issue?

I'm in process of installing a new clutch master cylinder on my vehicle listed above, my issue is my old clutch master cylinder had an elbow fitting on top for the fluid reservoir inlet line to connect to and my new clutch master the fluid reservoir inlet fitting sticks straight up, the clutch master cylinder is a tight fit location right under brake master cylinder. So, with that fitting sticking up not only do I fear it being obstructed, but with the reservoir line inlet now having to come over and down to connect instead of coming in from the side connecting lower to elbow bracket, I fear it now will cause a clutch fluid restriction, can these fittings be changed?

Does the fitting thread in or is it a rubber grommet? Can you please upload images of what you are talking about, here is the instructions for the clutch master replacement. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
