Thank you for the response! It is a vehicle we purchased for our daughter and both times the belt has come off its has been wet/rainy.
Are you a race fan and or a participant?

Thanks again

Ok then I would look into the double sided belts kit and that will fix you problems. As for race fan it is both. I watch and race when ever I can. I race both circle and drag when I am able too. I perticipate at the local racing school here is a pic in one of the cars.

It is very advisable that you invest $20 for a Chilton or Haynes manual for a complete instructions and photos. Our TSB is meant for technicians and only has the following plus torque spec.

I just recently changed the pump on mine it is a 97 also it is simple. Just put a breaker bar on the tension pulley on the nut and pull towards the front of the van and should release the tension on the tension pulley and the belt can be removed then it is simple for the water pump take of the impeller outer casing and replace it with the new one.
