The drive belt (i think that is what is called). Runs the alternator won't stay on. It has a new belt and a new tensioner, but still comes off. What else can I do?

What size engine do you have? Give the eight digit of your VIN. For example, if you VIN is ABC123DE45xxxxxxx, your eight digit is "E", and if you have A/C. Also give me the part number of the belt and the tensioner that you installed.

While you are at it, make sure that ALL of the pulleys line up. If one of them even off slightly, it will make the belt slip. Check ALL belts for sign of oil slick.

Thanks for advise, we changed out the bottom pulley, it was slightly beveled, got everything lined back up and it seems to work fine. Thanks again
