Sliding door 2001Venture Vn

I have a 2001 Chev Venture van with 89000 miles and a 3.4 L engine. The rt side power sliding door won't close all the way. It gets about 2 inches short of closing and stops then reopens. All the fuses are ok. Any ideas?

Check for any obstructions or drag on the door. Sounds like it is hitting resistance, like if someones hand was in there, and that makes the door re-open

I'm not sure what they are called, but I have that same problem on my 01 venture. When it happens I go to the black molding on the bottom of the door track and push it up. My kids tend to push it down as they are getting out of the van. Pushing that up seems to help with the door closing.
