I have a 2000 chevy venture van and the side sliding door won't work. The power switch won't work and it's like half way open and won't close. Even when you try manually to close the door, it still won't close. You can't even get the door to budge at all. What can I do?

There is a power sliding door reset procedure in the owners anual under the heading POWER DOOR. Try this and get back to me.

Also, with the power door turned off, try to manually close it. If this doesn, t work disconnect the power door motor by removing the access panel where the vehicles' jack is located (assuming this is the passenger sliding door. You'll see the module which controls the power door. Disconnect it and then try to close the door manually.
