1965 Chevy Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

i own a 65 chevy with the fuel tank in the cab. The southwest international raceway requirements are that all vehicles with the tanks in the cab are not alowed to race. I need to get it out but lm not sure if I can.

Does the law require it be removed or just be unused?

You may not be aable to get it out without a little cutting, but cutting by a gas tank is never good either.

Im sure it has to be unused. But that extra space would be nice. I got a chance to take it out today and it was fairly easy. I can leave the filler neck in cause it is seperate, and keep that stock look without any body work. Well thank you for your advice. I will ask more questions on your website if I need to. Scott

Glad to hear you got it out! I dont know why they would have a rule like that when your allowed to have a fuel cell in the vehicle. O well! Dont hesitate to ask anything else
