Our truck is excelerating and losing power. When I have my foot pressed firmly on the brake the truck wants to take off it revs like I am going to drag with someone we have had that sensor replace twice and its fine for about a day then the engine light is back last time they replaced a throddle sensor changed it didnt do a thing. A few years back we had the fuel pump replaced but there was no engine light the pump just went the garage did test the pump pressure and it was fine so now what would u do?

Is the engine getting hot? Watch the temp gage. That code will set if coolant temp is 282 f or better for 20 seconds. Just for testing, if you unplug the sensor, any effect on the idle?
