Transmission will not go into park

We recently repaired the transmission and now that we have reinstalled it; it does not want to go into park. I purchased a Haynes manual to help however it does not have adequate information to allow me to make the adjustments (missing illustrations / diagrams). Do you know of a manual or on-line site that would have this information? So far it appears I must gamble and pay and then "hope" the site has adequate information.

ATSG has great transmission overhaul manuals. You can find them at DACCO transmission parts or on EBAY.

Yep, there is something wrong inside the transmission if it went into park before. Here is how the parking pawl should looks and work. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
