2001 Chevy Suburban V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

How do I replace the bulb on the high mount brake light? I have the light assembly off the car but it seems sealed. I don't see a way to get it open without breaking it.

If there's no other means of removing the bulb to replace it, it probably was make for replacement on the assembly only-but I doubt that-it has to be a way-never done it-sorry
