1987 Chevy Suburban brake lights will not come on

I have changed my brake switch and checked all my fuses. But my brake lights still will not come on when I press on the beake. What could be wrong amd what chould I do to fix the problem. Please help

Hello, did you check for voltage at the brake switch? Orange, hot all the time. White goes hot when you step on the brake. Your brake lites are wired through the turn signal switch, the turn and stop use the same bulb filament, just not at the same time.
