Hard Start When Engine is Warm

I have a 1998 Silverado 1500 4x4 Ext. Cab with the 5.7L 350 Vortec. It has 160,000 miles on it and was running perfect before the fuel pump went out. I replaced the fuel pump and filter and then it started missing so I replaced the spark plus and wires. This fixed the missing problem, but now, when my engine is warm, it likes to turn over a couple times before it fires up. However, in the morning, it fires right up. What's the deal?

I have a 94 Chevy 1500, and it too has trouble with warm starts. A cold morning start-I can rely on, but 10 to 30 mins after engine is shut off-I can guarantee a no-start.
