2003 Chevy Silverado mass air flow sensor

Check engine light was on I checked it with a scan tool. It said mass air flow sensor low. So I went and bought a new one put it on cleared the computer. Then drove it maybe 10 min. And the check engine light come on again. So I read it again with the scan tool and it said the same thing. I dont know what to do.
