1989 Chevy Silverado Tail lights

I recently replaced a turn signal bulb on the passengerside tail lights. The lights worked for about 2 weeks then the turn signal and brake light stopped working. When you turn the park lights on the bulbs light.

Check and test the flasher unit and the turn/hazard switch.

Wouldn't a faulty flasher affect both sides?

Won't hurt to check it I strongly recommend you test the DIR/HAZ switch and check for an open circuit between the switch and the bulb socket which is the dark green wire.
