My 87 Chev S10 Blazer 4X4, with 192000 miles turn signal fuse keep popping. It does this once the key is turned on, no matter what position the signal lever. I have changed the flasher, turn signal switch, and followed the wires and cannot seem to find any breaks or bare spots.
The hazard (all four bulbs flash) and stop lights do work properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

1st shirt the only way for that to happen you have a wire problem between the switch and the fuse or from the fuse and its power source.

The ignition switch powers the turn signal in On position-when you turn signal to right or left this is where it connects inside the switch and goes to the light. Its a different ball game if it blows the fuse when you engage the turn switch. If it does then the problem is now in between the switch and the lights.

Good Luck

You were right however, the problem was between the reverse light switch and fuse. For that year, both the signal and reverse light feed into the same fuse. Thanks for getting me in the right azmuth!
