My s-10 is smoking out the hood. Overheating and I have no heat. Just a few min ago I heard a small clanking sound. What could the problem be and what will I need to fix it? Thanks -Jake

If you have internal engine damage, not sure where to start. Can you turn the crank by hand, is the engine froze-up? Plenty of coolant? If you have internal engine damage, I usually start by pulling the oil pan and look for metal in the pan.
