1997 Chevy S-10 Acts like not getting fuel

Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Just replaced the fuel pump in gas tank now I am thinking that fuel pump burnt up because fuel regulator
it not working need to see a diagram of this area bof the engine new pump is working and there is gas in the lines in the engine but truck still won't stay running.
