I HAVE A 2004 CHEVY MALIBU, MILEAGE IS 72000MILES, AND IT IS A 6 CYLINDER. I had the fuel pump changed last month, because it was cranking but not starting. I checked the battery today and it is good- on the ohms it was 13.6. It has a new fuel filter as well. So here is the problem, when I try to start it, it will start but then it will immediately stop. I have no idea what it is. Sometime when I try to unlock my doors with the button on the key chain, it will not unlock the doors-that may just be battery thing in the key phob or it may be related. Do you have any ideas. Thank you

Confirm that you're actually getting the correct fuel pressure. If so have helper crank engine over do you hear the injector/s clicking? When pressure and injector pulses is rule out disconnect a sparkplugwire or 2 and ground it to the engine -do you have spark?

Seems to me to be your fuel pump relay. It is weak and so when your car is warm or hot it will cause it to have some problems when you start it. Gives enough juice to turn over but then shuts off the car. I had that exact issue with my car this year. It was also doing the auto-unlock failure from remote. You likely have a short somewhere that caused the problem with the door and the excess wear to your relay causing it to fail prematurely.
Good luck.
