1995 Chevy Lumina how to replace fuel pump

1995 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Automatic 200000 miles

I have a 1995 chevy lumina van apv 3.1 and need to replace the fuel pump. How do I take the gas tank off to do it or do I do something else? Anyone can answer if they know for sure how to do this. And are there any pictures? Thanks so much for your help. I am replacing it tonight so if you can answer soon that would be great.

The fuel tank needs to be removed to replace the pump. There are two straps that bolt the tank to the vehicle. Once out, you will remove the sending unit at the top of the tank.

Here is a picture of the pump assembly you will remove.
