2000 Chevy Impala OVER HEATS

I HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH MY CAR SEE WHEN I TURN THE CAR ON IT OVER HEATS AND THE ARROW IS NORMAL BUT AFTER 5 MINUTES THE ARROW PASSES TO ITS UNUSUAL TEMPERATURE AND IT START TO OVER HEAT. THEN THE ENGINE SOUND LIKE IT HAS MARBLES INSIDE AND TURNS OFF THEN I HAVE TO WAIT 30MIN TO TURN IT BACK ON. THE ENGINE IS 3400 AND BESIDE THE CONVEYOR BELT IS WATER TANK I PUT WATER IN IT AND IT DOESN'T GO THROUGH THE RADIATOR. CAN U HELP WHATS WRONG WITH IT.

Lets try replacing the thermostat and see what happens don't work come on back -make sure the coolant level is up to snuff.

See we already change the thermostat and it work for a while but it started to over heat again. And water go to the motor when I check the oil there was water in it.

Water and oil don't mix together-Could be from a blown headgasket, cracked head or block to incude an intake manifold leak-Get it block and pressure tested to find out.
