I have a 2002 Corvette, V8 with 50,000 miles on it. My low fuel light came on and my car was sitting on E when my car had 1/2 a tank of gas in it. I filled up with gas to make sure I was not out of gas and my low fuel light stayed on and was still on E. It has been a week and I have put gas in my car every two days, but my fuel light still is saying I am on E.

The float on the fuel pump is stuck. Or sending a fault code. First have some friends rock the back of the car on the fenders. Not the bumper to shake it lose. Up and down. GENTLELY. Not like a low rider. If the problem is still there. Have the fuel pump and sensor replaced. With a FACTORY PART!
Good luck
