AS YOU CAN SEE my car has very few miles. It has not been driven in awhile. Therefore a local mechanic told me the motor was cooked. Maybe you can give me some more encouraging news. The car starts ok. After running for about 10-15 minutes, you can hear a ticking sound and then it starts running really rough. The mechanic said that just sitting around can damage the walls because the fluids were not circulating. He is not a Corvette specialist, so I need some info from one. Maybe if you think there is some better news, you can recommend a mechanic in my area. I am in zip code 02053, Medway Ma. The mechanic also mentioned that the noise could be that the bearings were damaged. Please send me your opinion.

Get the engine compression check this will tell you the condition of it-sounds like you have a valve train problem-bearing problems will caused a thudding and thumping knocking noises-ticking is on the upper end of the engine
