Replacing fan shroud and knocked one of the two sensors off and when I picked it up I noticed it was rattling I also had one of the fans burn out witch is why I was changing it out and I also don't think the other fan was working because the car got very hot should I change the two sensors or is there a bigger issue?

One sensor is ambient temp sensor for a/c and the other is coolant level sensor. The a/c sensor may control the fans. Check the relays and fusible links for fans as those may be burnt up see pic
