When I put the vehicle in drive or reverse I get a ticking noise. When I accelerate, the noise gets louder and speeds up with the engine but is not apparent at higher speeds. To me it sounds like something in the flywheel or in front of the tranny. It does not appear to be an internal engine noise because it dissapears when the vehicle is in park or neutral. Even if I rev the engine. No other problems with performance.

Remove the inspection cover and look for loose converter bolts possible cracked flywheel. Also loook a ttehstarter gear to be sure the spring is good and it isnt flopping into the flexplate when in gear. There isnt too much in there that will tick
