Can someone tell me how involved it is to remove the dashboard on 1998 Cavalier. I need to get to a bulb for my warning lights(Oil light, Brake light etc) What is the procedure and any advice would be great? Thanks in advance

Do you
have the same problem?

To remove the dashboard from the newer cavaliers you have to take off the plastic covers for the a frame, which are screwed in, then on either side of the dash are some screws that hold the outside of the dash in, and along the bottom are some screws, any part that is cliped in covering the dash must com of to reviel the screws behind it, some covers are screwed in, the steering wheel must come off to release the gauges cluster and screws that hold on the driver area of the dash, but before you remove the steering wheel bve sure to disconect the negative cable from the battery and remove the fuse for the airbag, if u run into more problems with it just email me at the_flip_side360@hotmail. Com and il answer them asap, be sure to title it cavalier dash removal questions
