Is this noramlly expensive to fix?Where exactly to look before I take it in and see if my husband can fix it himself like we just need to replace a fuse or something? Thank you in advance for your time concering this matter

Hello sharonh

On the driver side. Open the driver side door. Looking in throught the driver door on the lower left you'll see a part of your dash on the lower left with "fuse box" on it. Pop it open .
Find clstr fuse, it is rated 10 And the BCM/CLU fuse, it is also rated 10A.
If the fuses are good, the cluster ground need to be check.A bad ground could cause the problem.
I'm sending the diagram to help identify the ground wire.
