Having a problem with my dash lights. My air bag, abs, brake, anti theft lights are allways on as of a week ago plus my low coolent light and oil light blink on and off when they want making my water temp gauge go on and off. My DTR lights work for a min and the when I hit the brakes they turn off and on untill I hear the relay stop and they stay off and the light on the dash just blinks. The radio goes on and off also when I am driving the car and shifting. I checked some of the grounds but I have no idea what could be the problem. Please HELP!

I would have the car scanned for error codes, all the relative guages you mentioned go through the microproceessor. Also check the connections at the dionostic module, it is located below the right front seat.

The check engine light was all ready on due to the crank possitioning sensor with I havent replaced and the computer doesnt seem to be saving the code after all of this has been happening could that really be the issue or do you think it would bring up a code for this type of thing?

With the abs, air bag, and guages and lights going on and off these are all routed through the computer. Had you had it scanned after you had it done for the crank positioning sensor? Most likely the problem is in the computer. Since it is a 1998 you might get away with trying tio reset the computer yourself or you can have it done at a garage. Older cars they used to disconnect the battery, then let it sit for a few minutes. Without hooking the battery back up they would ground the positive cable to a ground of the car, to discharge any voltage left in the system. This clears the computer. After the battery is hooked back up the car most likely have to be driven about 40 miles before the computer is completly resets. If that does not help then it will have to taken to a garage to have any codes read.
