2002 Chevy Cavalier Fuel Pump Needs Replacing

Chevy Cavalier (2002) would not start and had to be towed. Repair shop diagnosed that fuel pump had to be replaced in the tank and quoted price tag of $900.00.

Don't mind paying if this sounds correct, should I be wary?

What is the price of the fuel pump. I think I would call around for a second opinion
