First thing I would do, Is buy an haynes repair manual, Then for the start of remove the pump, You need to remove all the rubber lines & metal lines from the gas tank, Be care full if youre gas tank is full of gas, I would get Some jack stands, Then with a floor jack with piece of plywood, To place on the floor jack, So when you are ready to undo the 2 straps that hold the gas tank, U have something to lower it onto the ground with. Undo the all the rubber & plastic line from the sending unit above the fuel tank, before, pulling it off the floor jack. Then of course, U need, to remove the pump from the sending unit, Then install the reverse method, Also make sure u put in a brand new fuel filter, Once eveything is put back together, Make sure you prime the fuel system line, allowing the pressure to enter the fuel line.(Note not allow the car to start). While priming.

Good Luck.
