I HAVE A 1980 CHEVY CAPRICE LANDAU IT POPPING OR BACKFIRERING IN THE CARB AND NOT OUT THE BACK WHAT IS THAT I VE CHANGED THE TIMING CHAIN A FULL TUNE UP I DONT WHAT ELSE TO DO CAN YOU HELP ME
IT POPS WHEN YOU HIT THE GAS

Check the accelerator pump if its squirting fuel when you hit the gas pedal and also the fuel pressure.

Its not squirtin gas its popping when you hit the gas and the spark plugs are full of gas

Time to rebuild the carbuerator-the Acc. Pump is not working its suppose to squirt fuel every time you pull back the throttle.
