My car intermittently bucks. Usually happens when the car is first started, and running 10-15 miles. When the car is bucking, the gas gauge reading fluctuates by 1/2 a tank, up or down, and you can smell raw gas being passed thru the exhaust. I changed the filter recently, and the run out from the old filter was black, this helped tremenduosly, but the car still bucks. I'm thinking I may have a weak fuel pump. The car is fuel injected, so my guess is pump or semi clogged injector. I have an affinity with this car as we were both dumped by the same woman. Need some help getting her running back th normal. Also, will a 350 bolt on to a 5 speed now running with a 6 cylinder?

Chevy engines will bolt to chevy tranny, you will need the ECM for the 350. Cheng the engine coolant temp sensor, for the fuel and buck. Clean of replace MAF and check MAP to see if it hold vacuum. Read the codes if you check engine light is on!
