1989 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

hey I have an 89 iroc that I want to convert from fuel injection to carburetor, since I dont drive it much and it prbly won't pass emmission im going to put historical tags on it. Just wondering what is involved in this ive talked to some people and if heard ill have to change the fuel pump due to the pressure difference and ive heard that I might want to cut the computer out. What else would I need to do?

Thanks

I don't think you should cut out any wiring until you do your swap, to see what works and does not work, and what trouble lights come on. Get an HEI distributor, and a decent intake and carb, and you should be ok. For the time being, just disconnect the wires to the ignition that's there, the injectors, and any sensors related to the stuff you don't want to use. Let me know how you make out, and good luck.
