Eingine runs for 5 minutes, stalls only way to restart is hold pedal down while cranking. One hour later it starts fine but only runs 5 minuets. Replaced fuel pump and filter . Replaced coolant sensor and coil and distributor to no avail

Try cleaning out the throttle body and air bypass passages, inspect/test the idle air control valve and throttle position sensor.

Did you check the new fuel pump whether its producing the correct pressure with and wihout the pressure regulator.
