my heating and air conditioning blows only through the defrost. Why is that? Also is there a site where I can get a free copy of the schematics for the heating and cooling systems?

I'd check the vacuum source, first. I believe the directional doors are controlled by vacuum.

Without the vacuum to the actuator, you can't control the direction of air-flow. I don't have a vacuum diagram for your vehicle.

As far as wiring diagrams, you might try autozone. Com

Click on (vehicle repair guides) follow the links. They have updated some of their information. On some makes and models, their information goes to 2005.
