I just got the vehicle listed above, it threw a p0305. I changed cylinder 5 coil and spark plug. Drove great. Check engine light came back on. This time p1000 and p0305. I went ahead and then changed all coils and spark plugs. Took it for a long drive everything was good, cars runs fine. Light came on again, same codes but the car is running fine. I don’t know why the light is on. What else could it be?

Good afternoon,

I would check 2 things right off the battery.

1. Compression. If the compression is low it will cause this issue. You need 140-160 in the cylinder. You can rent a tester at a parts store.

2. Fuel pressure Low pressure from a weak fuel pump will also cause this issue. I attached below the spec for the pressure. If it is low, the fuel pump will have to be replaced.
