I was driving the car and suddenly noticed it has no power to climb a hill, after a while it picked power and started moving. I got to my destination and switched engine off to see why. It wouldn't start anymore, it's an automatic gear, I noticed that the gear indication wasn't showing anymore on the dashboard. It goes in parking and neutral but wouldn't start or drive.

Let's start with checking for codes as we most likely have some that will help explain the possible causes.

However, here is a guide that will help with this issue in general:

If the engine just cranks but does not start then we could have a fuel, or spark issue.

Is the theft light on or flashing?

Also just want to make sure this is cranking but not starting? Or does it not do anything when you turn the key?

Please run through this info and let us know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks
