One day I was driving and it would not go forward. I am hearing G might need new transmission. I cannot afford that right now, but I would like to know what is going on. Last year I had to buy a used part from lkq it was a sensor part for the shifts. Something popped out the car keeps going dead since it has been sitting. Lights everything will come on when it get a jump.

Good morning.

Start the engine and check the fluid level. If it is low on fluid, it will not move.

Beyond that it is most likely an internal issue.

Did you check the fluid level before you drove it to be sure it is the correct level?

When was the last time you change the oil/filter in the transmission?

You will need a filter and pan gasket and about six quarts of fluid.

The parts house will get you the parts you need.
